Minley Manor, Hampshire

HEA was appointed to work with architects Purcell to produce a conservation management plan for the manor.  HEA worked on the landscape components of the plan.  The Manor, built in the middle of the C19, was inspired by the chateau of Blois, France.  The Grade II landscape was developed over an 80 year period by three generations of the Currie family: initially it is thought that Nesfield was involved in the early very formal design that was expanded on later in the century with guidance from Veitch; it was finally developed in a more arts and crafts style direction from 1900-1930.
